Hacker Cat — Account and Data Deletion
Last updated: September 20, 2026
Which app this covers
- App name on Google Play: Hacker Cat: Idle Action RPG — listed in Korean as 초보 해커 냥이 키우기: 방치형 RPG; the launcher icon reads “Hacker Cat”
- Developer and operator: Eurion (eurion.co.kr)
- Package name: com.bitcat.cybercat · distributed on Google Play
- Contact and deletion requests: manager@eurion.co.kr
How to request deletion
The game has no in-app option to delete your account. To delete your account and its data on our server, send us an email. You can use this process whether or not the app is still installed.
- Email manager@eurion.co.kr with the subject “[Hacker Cat] Account deletion request”.
-
Include your account code
and your nickname. The
account code is the eight letters and digits shown on the
“Account” card in the app's
Settings (for example
C0C9E17E). - If you do not know the account code (because you have uninstalled the app, or your version does not show the code yet), tell us your nickname, roughly when you last played, and your best record (level, number of ascensions, stage reached and so on). If we cannot identify the account or need to confirm it is yours, we may ask for more information.
- We delete the data and reply within 7 days of verifying the request.
What gets deleted
When we process your request, the following are removed from the live database on our server immediately.
- Your server account (anonymous account identifier) and login session
- Cloud-saved progress — level, experience, currencies, stage reached, upgrades, ascensions and the rest of your game state
- Your in-game nickname
- Your ranking record
- Upgrade records and score verification records
- The linked Play Games player ID (including when it was linked)
- Personal mail addressed to the account and unclaimed rewards
- Usage records (in-app action records) held on our server
What remains after deletion
- Purchase records — records of “Remove Ads” purchases (purchase token, order ID, product ID, price and currency, purchase time, verification and refund status) must be kept for five years under Korea's Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce. We unlink them from your account (anonymise them), keep them only for that period, and then delete them.
- Server backups — purged automatically within 30 days by the backup rotation.
If you keep using the app afterwards
- If the app is still installed, the progress on your device stays, and a new anonymous account is created the next time you open the app. Your remaining progress and nickname are then saved to the server under the new account, you rejoin the ranking, and if you are signed in to Play Games your player ID is linked to the new account. If you do not want anything left on our server, note your account code, uninstall the app, and then send the request.
- “Remove Ads” bought with the same Google Play account is applied to the new account when you tap Settings → “Account” card → “Restore purchases”.
Data stored only on your device
- On-device progress is cleared by Settings → Reset progress in the app, or by uninstalling it. Resetting progress does not delete your account on our server.
- If you have only ever played offline and the app never connected to our server, there is no server account and nothing to request.
- The advertising identifier is separate from your account. Reset or delete it under Android Settings → Privacy → Ads.
Deleting only part of your data
You can keep the account and remove only your ranking record through the same email process. Write “leaderboard only” in the request. Because ranking entry is automatic, a new record will appear in the ranking again if you keep playing.
Play Games achievements and scores
Achievements and leaderboard scores recorded through Google Play Games Services are kept by Google in your Play Games profile. Deleting your account with us removes the Play Games player ID linked on our server, but not the achievements and scores held by Google. To delete them as well, use the Play Games app or go to Google Account → Data & privacy → Play Games and delete this game's data, or delete the Play Games profile itself. We have no ability to delete that data on your behalf.
